5 easy steps to make your story popular on Digg

Popularity is something, that everyone wants. But the popularity is not so easy to achieve.
You must follow some basic steps to make sure your story will gain attention of the Digg users and they will Dugg your story.
There are some steps, that are easy to perform. Some of them are compiled from advices found in internet and other are based on my observation.
1. Make sure that you have unique and interesting content. People will not vote for article, that tell them... nothing. Try to make your story interesting, add pictures and media if this is necessary.

2. When publish your story to Digg try to write good title and description. You can write different title and description. Look the first page of Digg and you can see examples of good written summaries. Try to intrigue your readers from the first look. Try to find for yourself what can catch you to read something and the job is almost done.

3. Choose the right category for your article. Yes, it's hard to choose sometimes, because your article can be interesting for different categories, but try to find out what category is the best.

4. Add picture to your Digg submission. People like pictures. They give them one important reason to click on the link. But try to make your picture relevant to your article and the category you post.

5. Add Digg button in your article to let your readers to vote for your post.
This are 5 simple rules to make your stories popular to Digg. They can't make you popular automatically but if you follow them, I am sure that you can achieve popularity.
